Seacon starts rail service for large shippers

Seacon Logistics has started a rail service between Poland and the United Kingdom for a number of large shippers, via the port of Rotterdam.
 
The shippers (Colgate Palmolive, Mondelez International and Nestlé) established a joint platform, JIT, to reduce the CO2 emissions of the transport of their cargo by around 18 million tonnes CO2.
 
Seacon Logistics combines the cargo flows and finds extra intermodal transport in a number of European corridors. It also takes care of the administration and customs clearance. The collaboration of the three shippers in JIT is also open to other shippers.

    西康物流已经在波兰和英国之间开启了一条专门针对一些大货主的铁路服务，其中路线途径鹿特丹港。
 
    托运人（高露洁棕榄，Mondelez和雀巢）联合建立了一个JIT平台，减少了通过运输货物而产生的二氧化碳排放约有18亿吨。
 
    西康物流结合货物流，在一些欧洲外围进行多式联运。同时也负责管理和报关。托运人在JIT上的合作也向其他货主开启。
