Huawei opens logistics centre in the Netherlands

Telecom company Huawei is to open a logistics centre in Eindhoven, about 100 kilometres south of the port of Rotterdam. The company announced this in the Chinese city of Shenzhen.

Huawei views the Netherlands as an ideal gateway to Europe and is looking for a connection with Eindhoven’s high-tech sector. The new logistics centre in Eindhoven will be used for the storage and European distribution of ICT products and smart phones, which Huawei outsources to the Dutch branch of DHL. As of 1 May 2015 a three-year contract will take effect.

    华为认为荷兰是迈向欧洲市场的理想通道，并努力寻求与埃因霍温的高科技产业结合。新的物流中心将用来储存和欧洲ICT货物以及华为外包给DHL荷兰分部的智能手机的分配。2015年5月1日一份为期三年的合同将正式生效。
