CLdN launches a direct shipping-rail connection between the UK and Duisburg

For many years now, the Luxemburg company CLdN – formerly known by the name Cobelfret – has been providing a direct shipping and rail connection from the UK to the Italian cities of Piacenza and Bologna. The success of this service led CLdN to decide to launch a similar service between the UK and Duisburg as of this year. "The transit times in door-to-door transport are extremely competitive."

CLdN’s shortsea terminal in Rotterdam’s Botlekhaven has its own rail connection.
