Ports of Amsterdam and Rotterdam solidify their partnership

The two largest ports in the Netherlands, Port of Amsterdam and Port of Rotterdam, have renewed their partnership agreement by another five years. The agreement, which the partners entered into in 2010, is set to expire this year. The two ports are satisfied with the successful alliance, which has resulted, among other things, in the recent launch of the HaMIS shared information system in Amsterdam.

The two ports intend to explore other areas for cooperation and believe there are opportunities at the operational and strategic levels to improve efficiency and customer convenience. They have signed a letter of intent to formalise their plans.

    在荷兰，阿姆斯特丹港和鹿特丹港是两个最大的港口，现在两个港口都已准备继续签一个长达五年的合作协议。该协议签订于2010年，今年即将到期。这两个港口都成功的进行了联盟，所以在除推出了一系列合作服务后，近期又在阿姆斯特丹推出了HaMIS共享信息系统。

    这两个港口也打算探索其他领域的合作，并且也期待有在业务和战略层面的机会，以提高效率，方便客户。双方现已签署意向书，正式开始他们的计划。
